Almost Free From Opioid And Subutex Dependence (Top voted first)

Updated

I like a lot of other people got addicted to opiates by a doctor that convinced me of a back problem that I never had..at the worst part of my addiction I could swallow 50 pills a day. I was in my addiction for 5 years. I started on 8 mg of suboxone a year ago and due to the cost my dr. put me on 8 mg subutex.. I have since cut myself down to 4mg and can tell no difference from the 8-4mg. I am now in school and more excited than ever. My life has completely changed. I have no desire to feel high and if that is what anyone on this medication is looking to do, forget it.. You are defeating the purpose and wasting your money. My goal is to be completely off of this medication in the next 3 months.

Dr Joe,

First take an English class so you can learn how to express your thoughts without sounding so ignorant. Second do not put down Famousamos1206 for trying to do the right thing. Allow me to elaborate.... while there is validity in your statement that someone hooked to these painkillers must take responsibility, I think you fail to realize the underlying issue here that is creating an epidemic around the U.S. for people in the exact same position as Famousamos1206.

It is easy to blame the user, which you were so quickly to jump on, but with any problem it can usually be solved by going to the source. The majority of people will listen to their doctor, hoping to get better, in the chronic pain issue it has created an epidemic of dependency on percocet, vicoden, oxycotin, and other painkillers that bring high profits to the Doctors and Pharmeceutical companies.

In some cases a doctor will subscribe painkillers to a patient even when it is not necessary. This is because they profit from the initial subscription, and clearly understand that the painkiller creates a dependency, thus creating a vicious cycle of continuous usage profiting the doctor and pharmaceutical company.

This case is not alone, which you can clearly see by searching the internet for 10 seconds. It is an epidemic that is plagueing the U.S. and I am sure many other countries as well. The only solution would be to legalize a substitute that is not as severely addictive as painkillers, such as Marinjuana.

Dr Joe, next time I hope you are more supportive of someone going through such a difficult transition and trying to do the respectable and honorable thing.

Ridiculous he blames the Dr. I wouldn't be surprised if he's rallying for the opiate lawsuit we see in every page that's clicked.

Hi there, it was great to blame a doctor but you went with a symptom in the first place ...if someone tells you to eat cowdung or my s*** I bet you will say NO! Stop blaming others and take freiking responsibility!

Something I forgot to mention in my rant towards Dr Joe's comment.... amousamos1206 I hope you succeed in stopping. I have seen many of my close friends go down a terrible path leading to jail, continuous rehab, lose of friends and family, and having their personality change from a completely nice and respectable person to a theiving drug addict.

Good luck and stay strong. You need to remember this route will not lead to anything good because the painkillers will build you a tolerance (which I am sure you already know), leading to a necessity to increase dosage over and over.

Dear Ladies and genlemen,

All of us are looking for getting some bread for our homes.I am really interested from A to Z at all kinds of trades I will be willing to write to each company inthis site and make comparison with the ones over here in Turkey. Some years ago I had done the same by going to trade attaches (legal agents of each country in Turkey) getting the brochures of each country one by one. Now it is much easier to do that by sites like TRADEKEY which is bringing all of what I meant to our offices. Site owners should know I have a little health problem and as soon as I get rid of it, I will attack really in full speed. I assure there is no doubt for this. I personally need Subutex 2 or 8mg right now for my own treatment. I would like to know if you can provide those pills for me, if so; the quantity, prices, shipping conditions, payment methods, and so on...I have at least 15 more friends just willing to see how I get treated with those pills.I am sure, like subutex, temgesic, subsoxone then there will be even more buddies asking for them. Because nobody wants to go dying as he knows the way he is on. As you know we human beings can not live without HOPE. So looking forward to hear from you soon if you can help me with this problem and if it is ok I would like to get details without wasting time and go straight on deal...

Suboxone is a very effective analgesic. What I am wondering is this, why can't they just prescribe that for pain instead of the oxys or Vicodin? Would it be better since it doesn't make you feel high so you don't want it the same as the other opioids?

You’re blaming the doctor that was trying to help you? Not sure how it’s the doctors fault that you didn’t read the directions on the bottle and took more than was prescribed. Wow
