Almodac Vs Amladac For Hypertension

My wife was prescribed almodac 5 for high blood pressure, but the pharmacy had given her amladac 5 saying that the company has changed the packaging. Kindly let me know if almodac 5 and amladac 5 are the same generic drugs prescribed for high blood pressure?

Please enlight me, if ALMODAC 5 and AMLODAC 5 are different brand name of same generic medicine prescribed for high blood presser & hypertension? Or Almodac is a wrongly spelt ? My drug store says there is no medicine named ALMODAC. Please help to clarify.
