I'm allergic to trimothorprim and nitrofurtation both used for uti so can I take kefex

You can try it, as long as your doctor approves, however, you should be aware that there is a risk of your being allergic to it, as well. Being allergic to one or more medications increases the chances that you'll also find others that you are allergic to.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
