I'm sorry but it is hard to answer your question without more specifics. Are you on any medications that can cause a dry cough as a side effect? I find after I take Bromfed DM I start coughing more. When I don't take any after 6pm I sleep fine with no coughing. I have not been taking the 5mg 4 times a day. ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. That's unusual, since the Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. However, since you're laying down, when it happens, it may be due to the Pseudoephedrine in it loosening the nasal congestion, which may be draining down your throat causing the coughing. Have you consulted your doctor? You may be able to change the time you take it, or just go to 3 times a day. I have several hydroc/apap prescriptions (syrup), and I can't remember if they are cough suppressants or not. I don't want to take it for my back pain if it is a cough syrup. It's yellow. and its a long tablet ## Long yellow pill with AAA 1094 smooth ## AAA Pharmaceuticals lists this as containing 12.5mgs of Diphenhydramine and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is also now by the brand name Tylenol PM and is used to treat pain, and insomnia. I had Aortic Valve replacement 4 weeks ago. Now I am starting to have my usual fall allergies and starting to sneeze and cough and it really hurts. I have always taken an allergy pill called loratadine. Has anyone had this new pain medicine called Zilretta for knee pain? My mother is suffering from tubercolosis in waist. She has been advised to take AKT 4 and R Cine 150. Ever since she started taking the dose she is experiencing itches and rashes in the whole body.
