Hi, I have been taking the Allegra D 12 for a few weeks now & it really works excellently for me! I know this sounds gross but my doctor has me check my stool because of a prior but cured events! Lol... So...I'm curious as to why my body does not digest the brown portion of the pill!? Any ideas anyone?

Hello, Ryan! How are you?

Because that's the time released portion. The outer shell is part of what helps it to release slowly, over time, as it absorbs fluid in your stomach. Then, the empty shell is expelled as waste.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and insomnia.

Is there anything else I can help with?
