In respect to this, it really all depends on what you consider a drug and what you consider a medicine.
I am guessing your lack of responses may be due to the fact that most people use them interchangeably, to mean the same thing.
The U.S. FDA has made a distinction for items that they consider drugs, because of the effects they have on the human body, but do not find to have any valid medical use.
However, over time, even many of those have found some type of medical use. Such as the THC in marijuana, it is now purified and used to help with the nausea and vomiting that many cancer patients experience after Chemotherapy treatments, it can also help stimulate their appetite.
It is available in a pill called Marinol.
