Alka Seltzer Plus Expiration Date

Can I take two Alka-Seltzer Plus Day and Night non-drowsy cold and plus formula liquid gels after they have expired?

If they are expired, you should dispose of them.

Liquid medications tend to degrade and turn much faster than other forms, so not only do they lose effectiveness, but they could sour and make you ill, if you take them.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation.
