Aleve Vs Advil

Both are NSAIDS but are there any advantages to taking one over the other with regard to long term use? i.e. kidney damage or other long term effects.

Not really, both the Naproxen in the Aleve and the Ibuprofen in the Advil carry the same types of possible risks and benefits.

What you really have to decide on is which one works best for you and if your doctor says it is safe for you to use such a medication.

However, you do generally need to take less of the Naproxen than you do of the Ibuprofen to get the same effects.
