It is best not to drink while taking a prescription medication, since that could cause you to experience more severe side effects, than usual, according to NIH reports. They might include nausea, dizziness, headache, vomiting, and drowsiness.
If your doctor does approve of your having a few drinks, please make sure you are not going to be driving or operating any potentially dangerous heavy machinery.
Are you on any other medications?
