Apparently availed is currently available by prescription only. You can take a look at the link below for more information on this:

NOTE: that webpage was updated in 2011, so this is recent.

Additionally, you can search around for medications that contain the two active ingredients found in Avalide:
(Irbesartan + Hydrochlorothiazide)

Since it is available, I would consider talking to your doctor about prescribing this medication if you haven't already found an alternative.
