It is listed as bieing used to prevent the production of free radicals and protect the cells of the nervous system.

It contains:

α-lipoic acid 300 mg, polyunsaturated fatty acids (GLA, LA) 300 mg, vit E 7.5 mg, vit B5 4.5 mg, vit B6 1.5 mg, vit B2 1.2 mg, vit B1 1.05 mg and selenium methionine 25 mcg.

My mom has been taking Alanerv since January 2018 due to her recent stroke and she feels like it has not worked yet in terms of her muscle pains, veins, and tendinitis as her fatigue is still in its same state. On the other hand, her face does not loop on the left side anymore but her left eye could still close automatically or can easily get tired or blurry (which is the reason why she's also taking Lutein vitamins for her eyes, in addition to her blood pressure and cholesterol maintenance meds). She also takes Genacol for her joints. Do you think her maintenance medicines and other supplements are conflicting with Alanerv's benefits? Does it really take that long to take effect? Thanks.
