The AKT-4 Kit combines 4 essential TB drugs into one convenient dose package, so you can take them altogether, rather than getting a prescription filled for 4 separate drugs.

It contains:

1 tab of ethambutol 800 mg, isoniazid 300 mg, 2 tabs of pyrazinamide 750 mg, Each combipack contains 1 cap of rifampicin 450 mg

Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache.

I have been detected with micro bacterium tuberculosis and doctor has advised to take AKT4. My question is
1) whether it is a mild/strong drug for TB.
2) whether it is safe with respect to pregnancy.
3) in which types of TB (multi drug resistant, or normal) is AKT4 prescribed.

ya,rifampicine should be taken in empty stomach and remaining tablets half an hour after meal or breakfast

Sir I have been diagnosed with TB in my lungs and its been 21 days since I'm taking the treatment. Lately I forgot to take isoniazid tab for two consecutive days.. Will my TB grow drug resistant? Should i continue taking it as like i did?

I have done with my tb tretment(AKT kit) i used up to 8 months...but again am suffring with tb....is it possible me to get ride of this tb. And my doctor said my tb is in abnormal state...
