Akron, Canton, Youngstown Or Ohio Doctors Who Prescribe Opioids For Pain (Page 5)

Hello. I'm in severe pain. Need doctors from Youngstown Ohio Canton Akron + Cleveland + western Pa. My doctor got arrested now I'm left with no doctor. Anyone know where I could go? Please let me know. Thank you.

Well they can call me an drug addict if they want to cause due to an auto accident I have had two failed back surgeries screws and plates put in + Lung cancer half my right lung taken out and told me I don't was healed from cancer but then the cancer pops up in my left breast so I'm in do much pain I can't stand it anymore. I'm not in Ohio but in Kentucky have any suggestions on how to find a doc.to help my pain?PLEASE Help Me get rid of pain.

Lashawn, have you tried googling the term, "pain specialist Warren, Ohio"..? A hospital pain clinic is your best bet. Do you have a dr who can refer you? I have some names I found last week which I can get for you later today or tomorrow. You'll need a referral.

Linda, are you saying you have cancer now? Will your oncologist give you a referral to a pain specialist? Why would your oncologist not want you to be comfortable?

Leedle, are you in North east Ohio? If so, who was your Dr lost his license? You can give initials if you want. I've not heard of any drs in the area loosing their license recently. Have you tried finding a new dr?

Have no idea haven't seen an oncologist since had radiation and can't get pcp to refer me but she will not make me comfortable either.Ever since I had radiation therapy blisters from it comes out through my skin also and when blisters burst if I don't catch it in time it causes more blisters. In so much pain from everything back,lung and breast surgeries I feel as tho I'm going crazy and my kids think so also.Thanks please answer.

Leedle, there is a dr Torres in the Warren area, I don't no if he is taking on new patients, I have a funny feeling we both were seeing Riniri, by the grace of God my pcp got me into another doc but he is not taking any new patients. Good Luck, according to my phychiatrist, things with pain treatment are not going to get any better, only worse, there are new DEA laws coming all the time. I just ordered some Kratom, waiting to see if it will help.

I have tried to get new doctors but I keep getting turned down. The doc who had his license is n Marietta Ohio. His last name starts with an a.

There's a doc in Niles not far from the Eastwood Mall, you'll need a referral to get in though.

I pray you get this post from me, or maybe someone will see this and can be of help, I was wondering if anyone in the Akron, Canton, Boardman area have heard of a dr by the name of John Hill out of Alliance, and a dr Gutlove, or Dr Lewis out of the Canton area, I have to change my pain dr and will need a referral, I don't want to keep asking my PCP to refer me until I figure which one to try, so I am wondering if anyone in my area has any info about these doctors, thanks in advance for responses.

Cece, I am pretty sure that all pain management doctors will not even consider taking anyone without a referral. I would set up an appt with. PCP first and have that Doctor send a referral to a pain specialist., I have been a chronic pain sufferer most of my life and I have always had to have a referral to see a pain specialist.

What are the people that have chronic pain going to do.I have been in constant pain from two back surgeries,lung and breast cancer but the doctor I was seeing doesn't take my insurance anymore and I'm left out without any pain meds at all.Do they think that just because they quit takings ones insurance that the we care in no more pain but in fact I am in more can't feel my feet and they tingle and numb and my breast hurts worse.How do I ask for help and my doctor not think I'm a addict I do have to medical needed to control the pain .Please I need help

Is this in Salem Ohio? I have a herniated disc in my back and my neck is very messed up. I am in so much pain but no one is taking new patients.

Mm, referring to your post #91 Aug 29, 2016. Hopefully you've found a decent Dr by now, I sure hope so! I've never heard the Dr's names you mentioned. I so wish I had more to offer. I can't take proper care of myself to be honest so I'm literally at a loss about any Dr's in the state of Ohio or any state for that matter. If I come across any information, you all will be the first to know, that's a promise.

I'm curious (pray you found answers already) about Dr's that will be able to prescribe medical marijuana. Live in trumbull/Mahoning counties. I've heard there's only 1 Dr who's prescribing the medical marijuana. Please tell me I'm wrong

I have CRPS (chronic regional pain syndrome) or also know as (RSD- reflex sympathetic disorder) I forgot to mention that earlier when I posted ?'s about medical marijuana questions asking if anyone knew about it. It's a rare disease, I'm in chronic severe pain, and also would like to know about pain management doctots, mine is nice but I think he doesn't understand.

Jyauger, if there's one Dr in the entire state of Ohio prescribing medical mj I'd be shocked to hear about it. There MIGHT be some prescribing going on at Cleveland clinic but what I've read is that it'll be at least one year until any Dr or pharmacy will be able to write or fill script for med mj. I believe PA has approved medical mj as well, however there's one hospital there in a kind of trial or testing period only. I've read same will occur in Ohio.
