Is there any organization in TN that will help with my cancer medications like Dilaudid and MS Conton ?

These are both narcotic pain medications, so finding assistance for these types can be difficult.

Do you have prescription insurance?

If not, then you may want to ask your doctor about switching to the new Hydromorphone medication on the market that's called Exalgo, rather than the Dilaudid. There is an assistance program for it for uninsured patients and you can get more information and an application by calling 800-259-7765, option 2.

If you're unfamiliar with it, you can read more Dilaudid details here.

However, I'm sorry to inform you that there isn't one available for the MS Contin, since it is also available as a generic and therefore can already be obtained for a cheaper price....and yes, I know that doesn't actually help much.

The best suggestion I can make is to look for one of the many savings cards that are available, if you have a pharmacy in your area that accepts them. They are usually free and can help save some money on the cost of cash prescriptions.
