My tsh is 8.5 n my doc has given me thyronorm 25 mcg. I m taking it from last 20 days. Is there any side effects to that n is it too high? I m 36 yrs and my weight is 55kgs. Pleas suggest me that how long i hav to take the medicines?

Tina, the hair loss and dry/brittle hair can be normal side effects of this medication.

I've never heard of it causing the foot pain, though. Have you talked to your doctor about it?

Kavita, yes, you may also experience the side effects such as hair loss, brittle/dry hair and weight changes.

And if you have a thyroid disorder, you may need to take some type of medication for it throughout your life.
