Does anybody know if it is okay to take Advil on an empty stomach? I was told that it does a number on it, and I just wasn't sure - As a side note, I don't really take Advil on a regular basis at all.

It's technically OK at the recommended dose but you might experience discomfort. What becomes a problem is if you take too much advil or take it for a prolonged period. If you can, try to eat something like a banana with it to buffer your tummy.
