Advice For Fioricet And Severe Headaches Please!

I deal with chronic headaches as well as occasional migraines, and nothing has seemed to have an effect except vicodin. I was just prescribed fioricet and took one earlier and then another an hour or so later as the dose is 1-2 and the first wasn't effective. Three hours later my headache was just as bad and I took 2 more as I thought taking them an hour apart may have made them less effective.It's been over an hour since then and still no relief, I do maybe feel slightly dizzy and out of it but it's very slight...should I just give up on fioricet and see my doctor again?
I'm in college and go to a very difficult school and I'm having a very hard time keeping up with the workload and even getting out of bed and going to class. Any comments or advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Hello, Rose Marie! How are you feeling? I am very sorry about the headaches.

Yes, it would be best to contact your doctor, rather than continue to keep taking more and more of it, which may result in an overdose. It just doesn't seem to be working for you. This medication just doesn't work for everyone.

Are you on any other medications? Do you eat regularly? Do you take in a lot of caffeine?
