Adhd Adderal

I am not sure what to do. My 12 year old son takes adderal once a day for his ADHD for many years now. 2 years ago moved here and the clinic he goes to the office staff is very rude. So i went to another doc. but they will not see him till his records are transferred. As soon as the doc. got the transfer request they called and cancelled his appointment with no explanation. (No surprise to me). He needs these meds for school, without them there is a very noticeable difference. They run out on the 26th of Feb. so i have been skipping weekends in hopes to have plenty for school. I am not sure what to do. I know the doc. has 30 days to transfer files, and than i have to make an appointment with the new doc. which could take time to get in. Normally if my son doesn't have the meds for the day he'll stay home from school, otherwise I usually would have to go pick up from school anyway for disturbing the class. What should I do?? Keep calling the doc. to transfer the files? His 30 days will be the 1st of March. Call the Ins.company and see if they can help? I can't believe the doc. does not care enough to get right on this for my sons education, if nothing else. Any advice would be appreciated.

You do have the right to have a copy of those records yourself, though they can charge you a fee for copying them. But, if it were me, I'd go to the office of the old doctor and tell them I want a copy immediately, pay whatever their fee is and then hand carry them myself to the new doctor and cut through the rigamarole.
