I was diagnosed with ADD now at the age of 44. Ive been taking Adderall 10mg in the morning and 10mg after 1pm, but I don't see a change in the focusing. I have the side effects nothing else. People tell me that they see a difference in half hr to one hr but I don't, is it the milligrams or the fact that I take a low dosage twice a day? ## Hello, Lizzy! How are you? i am starting to get really scared. If these made it past quality control, past the FDA, what about the medicines my parents take? What about my birth control (also generic)? I normally get my perscription for my Adderall 20mg Tab filled at Walgreens. They said the warehouse sends them whatever they choose (Barr or Teva) which I am allergic to. I have ADD and my mind just is racing as I have been without my medicine, I have tried those other brands and immediaetly hives break out and massive headache. How can I find a solution to this? Pharmacy recently switched me to new generic brand (blue capsule) of adderall XR. I have never seen this brand and I don't feel like it is effective. I am hearing that Walgreens is putting a 24-48 hour hold on my ADHD Medication, Adderall. Are the rumors of an Adderall shortage true? Most of the post I'm reading are blasting the teva generic. I have tried core pharma's 30mg round pink tablets, and yes the ingredients are different between the two manufacturers, teva and core pharma. I've taken ADD medicine for six years and can tell you they are different. If it's hard for you to get up and get your day started try core pharma. If your up and in a slump and it's around 4pm take teva and you'll notice exactly what your supposed to notice. Teva is pure relaxation and focus where core pharma is harsh and cortisol inducing. Very hard to sleep on core pharma. Try taking half the tablet and be sure to eat good quality carbs with your ADD medicine. The body can't motivate without ample glucose. Got orange round Adderall 30 mg tablets with U31 on them but I am 99.9% POSITIVE just on size alone that they are fake. I have been taking adderall for over 10 years now. Started with Sandoz, which I have found to work the best. All the pharmacies I have been to have moved to other brands (Barr, Teva). They are ok. Does anyone know of any pharmacies in the Richmond, Va area that still carry Sandoz 20mg IR? I use to take Teva and was which to Corepharma 30mg Adderall, I noticed right away I didn't feel the same. I take it for Narcolepsy, I take 1in morning and then 1inthe afternoon especially if I have to drive a lot that day. Everyone told me it was other meds I was taking but I would take it in the morning and go back to sleep and always felt tired. This has gone on for over a year, last time I had it filled Rite aid didn't have enough of the corepharma so they gave me about 8 of the Teva and I felt great, I had energy in the morning and I could get things done but when I ran out of Teva all at once I went back to not having any energy, falling to sleep after I took it. Okay I was prescribed Adderall IR and my first script happened to be Corp Pharma. I can honestly say I thought it was horrible. This month my pharmacy had the orange footballs 974, from Teva, 110% better. I do want to try Sandox because everyone says how great it is, but right now after taking Corp for a month, I'm not complaining about getting Teva. ## I am very glad that you've found a product that works for you. So, to be short and sweet, I was diagnosed with hypersomnia (excessive daytime sleepiness) and adult ADD. Provigil did not help with the hypersomnia, so new doc (referred to psychiatrist) started adderall prescription of 20 mg XR once a day. She also gave me a future prescription for 30 days later. It was just a few days later when I emailed her to say that this clearly wasn't licking both conditions. She required me to come in for a formal appointment to discuss it. She prescribed 20mgXR twice a day also including a future prescription for 30 days later.
