I would like people to use this thread to make it known when Adderall becomes available again in their area. I live in Miami, and do not like having to go from pharmacy to pharmacy every day to find out if I can fill my prescription or if it is still "back ordered". Huge waste of time. ## Schedule II meds are delivered once a week. If you ask when they get their next order in, you would only have to go to the pharmacy once a week.

I moved to Fort Myers Florida from Houston Texas. I have a Adderall prescription, I'm having a hard time finding a pharmacy that will fill this for me. Anyone know where I might be able to get it filled? ## Hello, Brielle! How are you? Since this is a controlled substance, it's going to be very hard to find a pharmacy that will fill an out of state prescription. It would most likely be easier to find a new doctor and get a new prescription that will be local. Is there anything else I can help with?

How are you? The patents have already expired for both, that's why generics are available. The active ingredients are the same and so are the side effects, none of that changes, just because it's a generic. No, there are no significant differences, just slight fluctuations. Additionally, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require a medication such a this on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. I just relocated to SW Florida from CT. I had a nice doctor, saw him every month for 5 years. I am a male 45 years old and psychiatrist diagnosed me with ADD. It took me years and years to finally admit I had an issue so I looked for a psychiatrist. She started me on Vynase and worked my way up to 50mg, I did last long for me so the other day she switched me to Adderall 30mg. I picked it up this morning and was a generic brand and on the orange capsule says R3061. I took one at 730 this morning and did not feel anything except a couple hours later very lethargic. I know I was not suppose to take another one but I did and did not feel anything. I called the cvs phamasist to ask if there is a difference between the brand name and the generic I am on based on what I have read here and other places and his response was I would have the same reaction if I was on the brand or generic....

I started adderall of 10mg in 4th grade after I showed obvious signs of ADHD in the classroom. I am now a junior in high school and now take 30mg. I have noticed I am most likely addicted to it, but without it, i cant focus in school! On days when i dont take it im very irritable, annoying, and....... pressured, as in when theres too much going on i get angry, confused, and dizzy. Please let me know my understanding is Dextroamphet is generic for Adderall and Dextroamphetmine is generic for Dexedrine what is it really ## Hi yappie, Based on my research, Dextroamphet is simply an abbreviation for Dextroamphetamine; so they are considered to be the same exact medication in that regard. To help clear up any additional confusion, Adderall is a brand name for the following active ingredients: Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine. Can my pain management doctor count pills from my other doctors with the same hospital or will he count just the ones he prescribed? ## Hello, Jeff! How are you? It depends on the type of agreement you have with your PM doctor. Some stipulate that they can monitor all medication intake, especially of controlled substances, but some don't. Do you remember any of the details of your treatment contract? ## If you do indeed have a pain control arrangement with your doctor (I do), you should have a copy. ]I have been taking abilify 5mg once a day for about 3 years for bipolar ll disorder. About 4 months ago I was prescribed adderall for ADD. I have been take about 40mg a day. Last week I went to my doctor. We decided to try and stop the abilify because I felt I no longer needed it and that the adderall would be enough to keep me functional. So I began cutting the 5mg abilify in half then I stopped takeing it completely about 2 days later I stared having shortness of breath, tightness in my chest, muscle weakness and pain(primarily in my arms, I began talking in a different voice, I was naseus, I had a horible headache, and tingeling in my fingers. when I contacted my doctor he told me to immediatly begin the abilify again.
