i am trying to identify a small light blue pill with N008 on one side and a score in the middle of the other side. I was told that it is a 20mg Adderall. Okay so. I have an interview tomorrow (April 29th) for a 2nd job at 9am.. I took my last adderall, it was half actually so 15mg Of Addy at 5 am this morning. Didn't know I would get the job. They do mouth swabs. I am about 105 pounds maybe 107. 20 years of age. And not really a high body mass index (fat on body) besides my legs. And I have only taken it two days day before yesterday and today but at only 15mg.. So I went three days the prior without taking them. Should I just skip it and not go? Or is there any way any one has any suggestions..? Oh and I'm 5 foot. :(

It is peach in color, round on shape, and even though it's only half the pill you can tell it was scored twice. On the opposite side there is a capital "A" and what looks like a "3" but anything else would have been on the other half. Does anyone know if this is an adderall? If so what mg? If not, does anyone know what it is or how I can find out? Thanks. ## Before anyone goes out of their way, I just found out that it must have said "M A 30" when it was whole and is or was a 30 mg adderrall made by mylan.

I have had extensive testing through a Licensed Psychiatric Group of Doctors. This testing proved that I had been suffering with ADD all my life. This testing was done 15-20 yrs ago. Thankfully the past 5 years or more I have been taking the Medication: Adderall XR30 mg capsules (clear/orange capsules) I know this is a controlled substance and a "Triplicate" is necessary to fill the RX. *MY PROBLEM! The pharmacy "Caremark" would not send me the appropriate medication (Adderall XR30mg caps) as they have done for years. I have been without my medicaton for weeks now & I'm a mess! I recently got the pink round 30 mg tablets and I find they make me tense up a lot more... sore muscles, shaky, hard to get motivated because I'm so distracted from the negative side effects... The only way I like this brand is if I take a Benzo with them to counteract. ## Hi, I think because there is a shortage right now, they are giving out corr brand vs teva(the orange ovals). The only thing I DO like about the pink ones is that they work super fast, like in 10-15 min, where the orange ones take around 45-1 hr. But yes the pink ones are a bit ruff. ## From what I could gather, it looks like the only differences between these two medications are found within the list of inactive ingredients. How long do the therapeutic effects of this medication last? Why mix amphetamine & dextroamphetamine as ingredients? ## According to Standford Medicine, Adderall's duration of action lasts for around 6 hours. They go on to state that the extended release version lasts for 10-12 hours. Source: stanford.edu/medications/adderall.html Additionally, Adderall's peak effects reportedly take place within 1-3 hours - but I'd imagine this figure would vary for each individual. As to your second question, I don't know why they would mix the two different types of amphetamine salts. I can only speculate that each one picks up where the other falls short in some pharmacological aspects. Hope this helps!

Could anybody please be so kind as to tell me how full this capsule should be? ## Hi Chet, Unfortunately there's no way of knowing, unless of course you have x-ray vision to see through the solid blue capsule. But if you have any reason to believe that someone may have tampered with your pills, I'd probably encourage you to take it into a local pharmacy and have them compare it with one of their own for quality assurance. Better safe than sorry depending on your reasoning behind this type of question. Do some of your capsules weigh more or less than others?

It seems in the last 2 years, after Barr sold out to TEVA, that their adderall products went down hill....and fast. I remember when Barr Adderall 30mg IR was, in my opinion, the best.. Now....here is what I am experiencing: An immediate "boost" of the drug into my system, lasting only about 90min, followed by a rapid come-down. This was NOT the case before Teva took over Barr. Concerning Corepharma: take it if you like sugar pills. Concerning Sandoz: weak, but better concerning the rapid "up" and "down" Remember the FDA's +- 20% And also remember that the FDA "takes the generic company's word" so to speak with respect to bio-equivalence testing. If I'm prescribed adderall 15mg twice a day but have been taking it 3 times a day and they test for the level of the drug in my urine will I fail? ## I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. They only test to make sure you're taking the medication and not selling it or whatever.

Do they still make peach oval 20mg Adderall? I have been taking extended release and I like the tablets much better. About a year ago my pharmacy was having problems getting the tablets. They stopped ordering them. So now just XR. I want to go back on tablets, is there a shortage at this time? I live in So Cal. I am going to a new pharmacy in Brea, CA. Generic Adderall XR manufactured by Actavis is not the same formulation as was used by Shire/Teva. The efficacy of the drug does not exist in Actavis' version. I plan on filing a complaint with the manufacturer. I encourage others who are not receiving the expected results with Actavis' product to do the same. Be sure call your pharmacy and get the lot number of your capsules. Luckily, I am a chemist who has access to analytical equipment that will help me identify and quantitate this medication. I am unsure if it is indeed amphetamine salts and will not take my prescription. I want to know what I am putting in my body. I take five and a half 30 milligram adderall and for probation on a 14 panel drug test it keeps showing up as methamphetamine. Why? ## Wow. Did you mean to say you take 5 1/2 adderrals a DAY? First, no Dr would ever prescribe that amount, and no pharmacy would ever fill that amount. Second, if you are taking that much, you are either not sleeping, ever, or you are taking something heavy duty to sleep. Not to mention the damage you are doing to your body, you will probably be dead in the next year.
