Adderall Manufactured By Teva Not Working (Page 47) (Top voted first)

I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA?

Yes I’ve noticed that Teva manufacturer of adderall was making me tired and I’d take more to focus and be awake I just picked up Alvogen this morning it’s my 1st time with this manufacturer and so far I’m loving it

I’ve been on adderall since 17 yrs old with zero issues until the past few years. Yet Lannett was the only rx I kept hidden and wouldn’t touch for lab testing purposes only! How strange to mix my normal bottle refill with a few of them at the bottom and slap on same color, shape and imprint of teva. So sneaky and sketch! I’ve never gotten it again, it’s the worst by far!

I’ve been on xr and instant my entire life and the brand xr I wouldn’t doubt is mixed and skimmed as well! The capsules are barely filled and each one looks uneven with less and less beads but meanwhile it’s stamped “Adderall xr” shame on them! I’m

You can try another pharmacy. The pharmacist may or may not tell you which generic they have before filling your prescription.

I am very surprised that everyone in this thread seems to be s**ing on Teva. I have been on more forums, review sites, etc. than I can remember and everyone I have heard only has good things to say about Teva's Adderall, whereas the meds produced by Alvogen have been absolutely horrible (myself included). I have received Alvogen's pills (A79) in my most recent refill and it feels like I am taking a placebo and this is something A LOT of people have been saying. I thought I was building up resistance to my current dosage (20mg IR) before I knew that there were different companies producing generic substitutes for Adderall. Also, it is an important point to note that Teva Pharmaceuticals is the owner of the Adderall brand, so I find it more trustworthy.

All of this being said, I have had an almost excruciating experience with Alvogen's pills and, I can't stress this enough, I'm fairly certain that those pills are responsible for my current state of borderline depression.

Teva being bad is a new problem. The last SIX reviews from your link say that Teva is bad! Sort them by most recent. The other Quora link is from early last year. I have taken it myself off and on for 20 years, and Teva used to be good. I only started noticing a decline in quality two months ago. They replaced my usual generic with Teva then. So a lot of people are scratching their heads at how the same brand that everyone’s trusted for so long is bad now.

Also there is no “owner of the Adderall brand” when it comes to instant release. The only authorized generic for Adderall I’m aware of is Prasco.

Stay away from XR manufactured by Mallinckrodt! I take an IR booster that is Teva. and will be asking my doc to switch me to only IR so I can have Teva.
It is a night a day difference between Mallinckrodt XR and Teva IR.

take one tablet 3 times a day.

These where from BARR LABS. I ran out of them several years ago; I was hoping to show the pharmacist - they do not exist anymore.

This is typical. They start distributing their substitute while the older, brand name, drug is still on the market. In slang they would call this a "bait and switch".

I just suffered one terrible month with Teva 30 milligrams instant release Adderall. March 2022 was TERRIBLE! I wonder if my doc can write on the script “not Teva”, cuz I don’t care which generic I got as long as it’s not Teva.

My research indicates that Barr actually makes the generic product for Teva.

When Teva offered the brand-name, I believed that they made it

The reason I’m stating this is if you go onto the FDA orange book, you will find that Barr is actively manufacturing this.
