As of writing this there is currently no program available for Adderall and there never is for the generics, because they are cheaper by their very nature.

Have you tried consulting your doctor about possibly using an alternative medication?

There are some other options on the market for treating the same conditions and they may be cheaper.

I'm also on this medication and found the price is drastically different from one pharmacy to another. my insurance won't pay for anyone over the age of 22 if treated for ADD. Costco is the cheapest and what many people don't know is you don't need a membership to use the pharmacy. Just show your Rx to attendant when you walk in.

That is for the generic. I tried the generic and it only worked for 6 hours versus the Adderall XR which is extended release. My son's adhd was not as controlled, which stressed him out because he knew the generic wasn't working.

I got it for $75.00 at Walgreens. Without discount card I usually pay $186.00 for 30 capsules. Thanks! you saved me appx. $110.00.

Donna, was the generic you/your son tried also XR extended release? XR extended release capsules are made in both brand and generic. Adderall xr vs dextro-amphetamine xr. I haven't used the brand in so long that I'm not sure if the brand would truly last longer, but either brand or generic can be extended release. You could also try Vyvanse, which definitely lasts longer, but I feel is weaker. Also, if your son knows or thinks there is a difference between the brand vs generic (whether there is or isn't), it's possible for him to feel a difference that isn't there or feel it more so than otherwise. This is a common concept, things such as placebos and double-blind studies are used to avoid such effects. This is a common practice in the medical field with medication/treatment studies, and something I studied a lot during my education for a Psychology B.A.

ADDERALL XR 20MG #60 No you don't!! I just took my coupon to Walgreens and they told me it would be $260 something not $86 for 60 pills. The advertised price is a lie!!!
