Adderall Ir 20 Mg Aurobindo, Teva Or Sandoz
UpdatedI have a prescription for 20 mg Adderall IR and my generic options are Aurobindo, Teva or Sandoz. Which one of these would you recommend? I've read posts that say Aurobindo is the worst but seems to be the one most pharmacies are pushing (or stock) right now. My script is for 90 pills so I can try 20 mg a day or cut one in half and try 30mg/day to find what works best for me. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
It may be a challenge tell you which one will work best for you, since we are all different. For example, I've always done well with Teva medications, but someone else may feel the same about the ones from Sandoz. I am also rather indifferent to the ones from Aurobindo, no results to brag about but also no complaints. Also, since the Hatch-Waxman act of 1984 was passed, it is entirely possible that people will have different results with generics from different manufacturers, even with the same reported active ingredients (not to mention the fact that inactive ingredients / fillers usually differ as well).
As to this medication, the FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and insomnia.
Which one did you decide to try?
I can’t get Sandoz Adderall IR anymore, but can get any other brand that is out there. What do you suggest?
-Aurobindo is the mildest.
-Teva has anti-recreational properties (They goo-up).
-Sandoz is the most potent.
Re: William (# 3)
Why do you say that Teva is anti recreational? I'm trying to find a consistent genetic adderall that gives me full clarity and energy that lasts. Thank you.
Re: William (# 3)
Sandoz is no longer potent. The formula has changed and it is now weaker than Teva, Mylan, and even Aurobindo.

I know Sandoz is on back order , the pharmacy I go to Alwyas carries Sandoz aderral ir , they just ran out may 2018 they told me it’s on back order , does anyone know when they will be available . I read in one of the posts that June 11 2018 this past week they will Be distributing Sandoz again b
How can I find more information. Teva is what they have, it’s not working proper as it should. Sandoz was smooth and gave me motivation and some focus etc. The teva is strange, can’t explain but I don’t feel ok since I got teva again last week.
I need information, can Sandoz be contacted , What can I do know ? Also my pharmacy deals with the same distributor and everytime it’s back in stock they have it . Can they find out a specific date ? Or they will be notified the day they can have it. ?
Can I find out from there distributor ? Or Sandoz ? As i said one post said June 11 th it will be back . Perhaps this message was specific for certain locations.. I need advise of how i can find out if they and when it wiill be in nyc again. Not sure of how to go about thIs. ? Perhaps Call the distributor and or Sandoz corp? Any one can advise me I would be so appreciative. Also Any other info or thoughts would be helpful. I have a few more questions. And want opinions. Will write again. Thank you

Do not go with aurobindo. I got it today and feel poisoned. Sandoz is effective for me but a few more side effects than Teva. I have no side effects with Teva but have to increase dosage with it because it's weaker than Sandoz. Corepharma is dirty and Mylan is garbage. Teva is my favorite. Mallinkrot works well but is speedy. This aurobindo is the speediest Adderall I've taken and with the most side effects including shortness of breath, rapid heart rate, chest fluttering, migraine and panic attack. Good luck.
Everyone metabolizes medication differently, so you can't really gauge, on a public forum, what is best for you. I suppose you have to try each brand to see which works best. Speaking for myself, I have been taking 30 mg TEVA for years now and I can't imagine a better brand. Several years ago, I took Sandoz (peach-colored) and they were adequate, but TEVA is the best for me. For what it's worth.
I have been on adderall, 20 mg twice daily for over 12 years now. I have taken every generic (Barr/Teva, CorePharma (RIP), Sandoz, Mylan, and Aurobindo). My good friend is a pharmacist so he special orders different generics as I wanted to try these out.
The problem with trying to figure out which one works and which one doesn't is that each person will have a different experience and these can vary from day to day.
From my experience, which can be completely different from yours, is the following:
Teva/Barr - kicks in about 45 minutes after ingesting, with a span of about 2-3 hours of full function. Stomach aches occur often and I found that this specific medication began to lose potency pretty quickly after a couple weeks
CorePharma - 45-60 minutes to kick in. Terrible heachaches. Used it for 2 months and left it for good.
Sandoz - 30 minutes to kick in. Some jitters but pretty smooth and lasts a while. It's one of the better generics
Aurobindo - 30 minutes to kick in. Potency seems to vary from each script I get. If the batch is good, I favor it over any other generic, which I know is different from others experience. Lasts 4-5 hours with minimal side effects
Mylan - Stay Away!!!! Honestly it seems like a placebo. I'll never utilize this brand.
Like I said, everyone will be affected differently and batches can even vary between months. Talk to your doctor or just pay for the brand name.
I have taken Teva 20mgs twice daily over 3 years. Yesterday, I am so broke, I tried using an Rx card at CVS. They gave me Sandoz- the round ones, that are changed. They are like taking nothing & ended up over an hour's wait, hassles, & the coupon & first time extra $5 off was way over priced. I may as well crawl back on the couch tonight, it's also storming now & tomorrow, so I will really be bad. Used to be the pharmacy replaced an Rx within 2 days if it did not work for the patient. Now they are more concerned with stealing as many schedule drugs each patient. Of course nada is ever made right # wise, not even give you # back. Yet we sick, elderly, &/or youngsters are ripped off, worsened our conditions, & a large percentage of trips to ER, readjusting when we do get all proper meds. Yet if they don't kill us, we can't even see! This is 1 drug that is really vital, helpful & makes our s***ty condition (1 anyway!) more bearable. Its going to be winter, I've been sicker this year & looks like I won't get necessary chores, cleaning, rearranging & repairs done until next spring now. I don't have anyone to help me. & I'm poor, so I don't get a free housekeeper, nurse, & in home care. I can lay here for days after I die & no one checks. & my poor cats will suffer before they die too. If I had $, I would get a huge legal suit going in my area dealing mainly with 1 hospital, 1 clinic & 1 town's pharmacies!
Re: Azrl (# 11)
so it isn't just me noticing sandoz changing, ever since the end of july I noticed, oh boy its quality is just not there, I get racing thoughts and I never can focus, even if I try to clean my dishes I cant. I decided to go on ritalin
Hundreds of people have reported serious problems with the Aurobindo amphetamine pills over the last four years. Complaints are all over the Internet of panic attacks, confusion, loss of sensation in the hands and face, and all other manner of horrific side effects that these people did not have on their old brands until they were switched to Aurobindo.
Check out the Aurobindo Pharma social media page for many complaints. You can also see many threads on Medschat from 2014-present wherein people have discussed serious problems from Aurobindo pills. And more complaints are on other sites too.
Re: yui (# 12)
Which brand ritalin did you decide to take, & is it working better for you?
Re: Quality Advocate (# 14)
I switched to Caraco Ritalin by Sun Pharma, it’s more of a beige color versus the bright peach one I recurved from them previously, & helps me focus a lot. I really like it. It’s 20mg IR.
Re: yui (# 12)
They're much better now.
I had sandoz adderall and made me feel sick the first two days than nothing. Didn't do anything for me!
Re: Cody (# 2)
teva. 100%- its the best. and youre lucky
I can remember back in 2010 when it wasn’t even argue that against the fact that Teva was more potent than any generic Adderall by most. Somewhere along the line they altered their formula, other generic companies begin marketing, and Teva began to get criticism on the Internet. However, I have tried most all generics, and I can tell you that in my opinion Teva, though not quite consistent, is much better than most.
I had an allergic reaction to Aurobindo after taking Teva for some time. I took it to the police station immediately and dumped it. The psychiatrist wrote me a script for Teva the next day and all was well. He was the one who figured out it was the one who figured out it that it was a change in generic brands - not like he was tracking them. The pharmacy gave me the list or verbally told me what I had been taking all this time. My opinion is NO WAY take the Auerobindo. It's not just my personal reaction, it's that I experienced no 'help' from it and from what I hear from others it sucks too, but remember, everyone takes to different meds a different way. I too wonder what the most common alternative to Teva hapens to be from input from the posters on this forum..

I have tried Sandoz, Teva, and Lannett. All of them have been completely ineffective. I’ve been struggling since August.
Aurobindo has personally been the best for me. However, most people taking adderall prefer teva. Only your body can tell you really. Also, which pharmacy do you pick your meds up from/which state are u in? I’ve been trying to get my hands on aurobindo 20mgs for so long now cause they stopped manufacturing em for some time lol. I hope you found the meds that work for you/if you haven’t, I hope you eventually do ! :’)
I think i neglected to mention that Teva is in myopinion the one to go with by far!!!
