Adderall Backorder (Page 63)

I take generic Adderall 20 mg for narcolepsy and there is not one local pharmacy that has it in stock. I have never had this problem before. The pharmacies are saying that it's on backorder from the manufacturer. Is anyone else having problems getting their scripts filled?

Omg same here. DFW area all out. I was able to refill last month 6/06 but backordered now and I only like the generic Walgreens carries I hope they get stock soon ??

Here to say my 20MG XR is on back order. Spoke to the pharmacist, she is trying to get my doctor to send it to a sister store. She said it’s on back order until beginning of august or possibly mid October. Sigh. I spent years trying to find the right adhd medication. Finally found it, and now I can’t get it.

I was able to pick up two prescriptions of generic Adderall today at the Walgreens in Amesbury, MA. They filled one script for a qty. of 30 of the 30 mg pills and a qty. of 30 of the 20 mg pills. A friend was also able to fill a prescription today at CVS in Amesbury, MA. Hers was for a qty. of 60 of the 30 mg pills. Good luck on your search!

What is the brand?

By the say everyone.... STATES have DIFFERENT pricing charts for meds.

We must remember that pharmacies are not the USPS - CVS and Walgreens are under extreme pressure to publicly reveal quarterly earnings to shareholders. if generic Adderall isn't profitable they won't stock and fill it.

RE: The prescriptions I picked up at Walgreens: The 30 mg pills were Teva. The 20 mg pills were Camber, a brand that's new to me.

RE: The prescription my friend got at CVS: The 30 mg pills were round peach pills with a script-looking E over 404 on one side and was scored into quarters on the other. I tried looking them up with a pill identifier without any luck, so if anyone can fill me in please do.

The E 404 pills are indeed a 30 mg generic from EON Labs (Sandoz) - NDC 0185-0864.



Inactive Ingredients:

- FD&C Yellow No. 6
- Lactose Monohydrate
- Magnesium Stearate
- Corn Starch

Thanks for the info. Do you happen to know what the "word on the street" is about the Camber pills? I've never had to get a handle on the amphetamine salt generic brands before, but it seems there may be recent changes, so I better get on board. I did switch from my local CVS to a nearby Walgreen's because the 30 mg pills they started carrying didn't work as well for me. I don't remember what the inscription was, but they a bigger round neon pink tablet. I've had to get thyroid pills with a no interchange order from my endocrinologist. It never occurred to me to ask for no interchange with the amphetamine salt pills, but it seems some folks do. Take care.

Everyone says Camber sucks.

Teva is supposed to be an authorized generic copycat of actual Adderall.

Yes, Sandoz as already stated.

I've had ineffective generics before, but I've never had one that made me sick. I'm going to try and keep an open mind when I take it. I already have a problem staying awake. I take a nap or two every day and even dream about taking naps when I'm sleeping. I know it's because I've been cut back from the 120 mgs I took for 20 years to my current daily dosage of a 30 mg and a 20 mg daily. I just hope I'm not one of those who has trouble staying awake on Camber, since that's already an issue for me. Oh well . . .

I received a 10 day supply. My Medicare plan only allows 2 tabs pet day. I have found that, although, they seem to work, 3 a day might be better as my doctor thought. Monday I will have a new script and have my doctor request an exception so I can try that. I will get enough to last until Aug.1, so I will be back to getting scripts at the beginning of the month, in case the DEA ceases limits on pharmacies for Adderall.

I did okay on Lannett generic if I can find them. I will keep watching here to see what everyone says about Teva. The ones I had at the beginning of the year weren't very good.

If I don't get at least 8 hours sleep, none of them will "make" me get up and do something, if I don't get enough sleep, I only get as far as thinking about doing something.

I will come back to comment if and when I get 10mg tid. I had a difficult time with Ritalin generics back in the 90s so he switched me to Adderall in 1999.

My choice was switch to Focalin or take Camber Adderall which was a disaster for me.
