Adco Metronida And Alcohol
UpdatedHow long does the effects of the tablets last? i.e. when can alcohol be consumed without side effects from the tablet? What are thes side effects should you drink alcohol while still taking the tablets?

Metronidazole is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections.
The reason you are told not to use alcohol while taking it is because it can severely worsen the side effects, some of which could be life threatening, such as the central nervous system depression.
