Adco Mefenamic Acid 250mg During Pregnancy

I'm 4 weeks pregnant and I was experiencing some bleeding and pain and cramping as if I was getting my period. I took 1 Adco-Mefenamic Acid capsule and now I am worried about my growing fetus. Should I be concerned? Have I harmed my baby? I can only go to the doctor tomorrow.

Hi. I'm using mefenamic but it seems like I'm constipated. Why? I'm struggling and I even bleed a lot.

Mefenamic Acid isn't generally recommended during pregnancy, because there have been no human studies done on its safety.

There has been some risk shown in animals, but it was at doses much higher than the normal human dose.
