In most cases, doctors will prescribe these types of medications to be taken in the morning, because then it helps give better blood pressure control during the times of day that you are most active and it may have the most fluctuations.
However, if someone experiences a lot of side effects, then they may be told to take it in the evening, to prevent experiencing these problems during the day.
Therefore, it's always best to consult your doctor on when the best time would be for you to take it.
Just as an example, with my medications, they are were all originally prescribed to be taken once daily, in the morning. But, I later ran into the problem where this caused far too many side effects and stomach issues, plus my blood pressure and heart rate would be elevated by the time I was going to bed and I wasn't able to sleep. So, in my case, we had to split the doses, so I take some in the morning and some in the evening.
