Adco Bisocor Side Effects (Top voted first)
UpdatedThe doctor prescribed Hexarone for me but the opthalmologist eventually found a residue deposit as a result of the meds on my corneas. The specialist changed the meds to Bisohexal, later on the new Med Aid scheme changed it to Adco-Bisocor. The film on my corneas are getting worse. I don't know whether it is the active ingredient BISOPROLOL - but I need help urgently, my sight is getting 'hazier'. I am 63 years old and had an eye stroke 2 years ago. I cannot find anything on the Internet that addresses this problem of residue on the corneas.

What are the side effects of Bisocor?
Patricia, are they certain it's from the medication?
Bisocor contains the active ingredient Bisoprolol, which is a beta blocker used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.
Vision changes, however, are warned about in the possible severe side effect section of information on this medication and, in such cases, it is advised to switch the patient to a different medication.
The regular side effects can normally include: nausea, headache, stomach pain and dizziness.
