Acyclovir And Kidneys
UpdatedI am now in stage 3a chronic kidney disease. After years of resisting it, I tired of failed attempts with lysine and diet to keep herpes at bay, and went on acyclovir. It has been 2 1/2 to three years, 800 mg/day. It worked wonderfully, until a CBC came back with the bad news. Kidney disease is not reversible. Be warned.
