What is the difference between Act-Diltiazem CD 180mg and Teva-Diltiazem CD 180mg? My prescription was changed.

It is the same medication, just manufactured by different companies, which is very common with generics.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

Teva and Act are abbreviations for the names of the manufacturers.
