Acitrom Side Effects To Burn Patient (skin Alergy). (Top voted first)

My father was 32% burn from electric and admitted in hospital. After one month he developed DVT. Now he is suffering this problem from two month and taking Acitrom 6mg daily, After that he has an skin alergy in burn areas. please advice me how can i solve these problems.

i m using anticougulant medicine (ACITROM) 3mg last 12 yr. Now a few day back i have seen skin alergy on my foot, first small red spot appear on foot skin and then turn into black spot mt INR is 3.5.
kindly expain me is it bcoz of acitrom ,and what is to be done

With the burns and that skin still healing, I have to say that it is really far to risky to try to solve these issues on your own.

Has he consulted his doctor?

It is normal for the healing skin in burned areas to be more sensitive and it will sometimes react to something that the rest of someone's skin does not.

They may be able to provide him with something else he can use to alleviate the symptoms or they may need to switch him to a different medication.


The Acitrom contains an Acenocoumarol compound, it is an anticoagulant.
