I have been experiencing aches and pains since starting Lipitor. Is this normal?

Hi rob - Lipitor lists several side effects related to what you are experiencing. Headaches are the most common, along with possible chest / abdominal pain or arthritis in less than 10% of users. You can see the full list on the page for Lipitor Details: Adverse Effects.

If these continue then I would recommend that you report them to your prescribing physician ASAP, as they may decide to switch your medication or dosage. Hope this helps and good luck!
