Have this in with several others- I think it is acetaminophen- white tablet, round, labeled 44-188 ## Hi Betty, To my knowledge this is more than likely an over the counter drug, seeing that many OTC meds in the US start with the numbers "44" followed by another set of digits. Unfortunately I haven't located an exact match, however the clues I'm finding here do lead me to believe that it falls in the realm of OTC cough, cold, pain or sleep meds, or motion sickness tablets. To find out whether this proves to be the case, I would encourage you to take the pill into your local pharmacy for more specific details as to what it might be. Acetaminophen is still a possibility in my book, but so is Dimenhydrinate and Diphenhydramine, & perhaps other meds as well. Please post ...

If I add 500 mg of acetaminophen to my 10/325 Percocet will it enhance the effects of the Percocet? ## Hello, Tracy! How are you? The medication you listed already contains Acetaminophen, that is what is designated by the 325, the 10 designates the amount of Oxycodone in it. So no, it is not a good idea to add more. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

What is this pill and what is it used for ## Hi Gloria, Any chance that your imprint says 44 235 as opposed to 44 236? Reason I ask is because I located an oblong blue pill marked with 44 235 on one side and blank on the other. It's identified as an over the counter Pain reliever PM extra strength tablet, containing 500mgs of acetaminophen + 25mgs of diphenhydramine. For verification, this particular pill also carries a National Drug Code of 59779-235 I hope this helps!

I'm having a severe headache and have been for 3 days. Went to Dr yesterday and they gave me a script for a headache pill but it didn't work. They also gave me a pain shot and steroid shot that didn't work! Today they called in a script for butalb acetaminophen caffeine 50 300 40 and it's not working. How long should it take for this to work or should I go to see if I need any tests ran? ## It should start to help within 15 to 20 minutes of taking it, according to the NIH, since it is a regular release medication. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain. Are you on any other medications? Has the headache eased, yet? ## I'm not on any other meds and today is the first day without a headache in 7 days .

My prescription was changed from blue Watson 540 to white Watson 540 pills. However, I felt that the strenght was different from the blue colored Watson . Taking one blue Watson would stop the pain but one white Watson did not work. Does anybody knows if the strength is the same? I can't findi the blue Watson anywhere anymore ## What strength does your pharmacy list on the bottle? From what's been posted on here, so far they have just removed the dye from the tablets. There are others where it seems they have done this, as well, due to some people being sensitive or allergic to the dyes. However, the reason I am asking what the pharmacy lists as the strength is due to the fact that the amount of Acetaminophen in these tablets will be changing. The FDA has requested that the amou...

I picked up my usual prescription for Percoset and it was obvious when I opened the bottle that it was not the same manufacturer, as my medication has always been oblong white capsules by Mallinckrodt (which I just found out from my pharmacy - CVS - who aren't willing to do anything without speaking with my doctor). Anyway, I have been telling my boyfriend all weekend that these were not working and I have had to take more than prescribed. I have been in constant pain for over 3 years and I know my body well enough and my schedule well enough to know that these do not alleviate my pain unless doubled. I am FURIOUS because I never would have questioned the manufacturer thinking, as a layman in pharmaceuticals, that the ingredients would be the same but their NOT. My weekend has been ...

I took 2 Acetaminophen and Oxycodone hydrochloride 325 mg / 7.5 mg over the weekend because I was out of my Norco 5/325. Never taken them before. I've got new job and I'm getting a drug test this week. Will this still be in my system and will it make me fail the drug test??? ## Most drug screen will not detect it. You should be alright. I think Norco is hydrocodone based, so Percocet is a different drug, but most employment UAs do not test for them, usually only Morphine and Codeine.

I have a swollen jaw that the pain has moved into my neck. will the hydrocodon-acetaminophn 10-325 help relieve the pain and swelling. ## Hello, Steve! How are you? It may help with the pain, since it is classified by the FDA as a narcotic analgesic, but it will not help with the swelling, or any possible infection that has caused this issue, that will require other medications, as deemed appropriate by your doctor, or dentist. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. I strongly urge you to consult your doctor, or dentist, as infections that are spreading could become dangerous. Has there been any change?

300-30mg acetaminophen code in vs 5-325mg hydrocodone with acetaminophen no story please just need to know which is stronger, thank you! ## Hello, Cynthia! How are you? I'm happy to help you with this question. Compared to the opiates that were derived much later, Codeine is very mild. For example, according to the opioid converter provided by Global, it takes 33.33mgs of Codeine to be equivalent to each 5mgs of Hydrocodone. Thus, while it may not look like it, if you go by the dosage numbers, Hydrocodone is actually much stronger than Codeine. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Fever dropped by 1 F though; ??? ## With a fever like that, it sounds like he's ill and that could be why caused him to vomit. What has his doctor advised? Just because Dolo can help break a fever, that doesn't mean that it's immune to the normal quirks of the human body, especially when someone is ill, so they could still vomit, after taking it.
