The medication you're describing (generic Fioricet) is reported to only be available via prescription - at least here in the US. This means that it would be illegal to obtain them via other means if you reside in the US. So unless you're visiting those other countries in person, you'd have to go through your doctor in order to get what you need.

No, Acetaminophen in and of itself does NOT contain Codeine at all. They are two different drugs.

However, the medication in question (generic Fioricet) is available with Codeine "added" to the mix (i.e. Acetaminophen + Butalbital + Caffeine + Codeine).
