I am a 35 yr old healthy man. A few days ago I began experiencing pain in the center of my chest where my ribs are. I have consulted with my doctor and he gave me a combination of Acelofenac and Thiocolchicoside. Should it be taken together or not?

You should take the medications as prescribed by your doctor.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation.

Are you on any other medications? Have you consulted a cardiologist?
