Which medication did you take?

Did you take one that is a combination of Paracetamol and Aceclofenac, or did you just take Paracetamol? Paracetamol by itself is safe to take while pregnant, but the Aceclofenac is not. However ... Paracetamol will not do anything to help with coughing.

Aceclofenac is classified in FDA pregnancy category C.

"In rabbits, treatment with aceclofenac (10 mg/kg/day) resulted in a series of morphological changes in some foetuses. In general, the regular use of NSAIDs during the last trimester of pregnancy may decrease uterine tone and contraction. NSAIDs use may also result in premature closure of the foetal ductus arteriosus in utero and possibly persistent pulmonary hypertension of the new born, delay onset and increase duration of labour" [1]
