Accutane So Far Is Great

I have been on 40mg/per day for 25 days so far, and a big improvement in my skin already. The first two weeks my spots did get worse but i was prepared for that, then suddenly around week 3 my skin stopped producing oil and since then the spots have dried up and started to just disappear. For me, the side effects aren't bad, just make sure I have lip balm on me all the time 'all. I had really extremely oily skin before and moderate acne under my jaw and sides of neck with the occaisional horrible big one on my cheeks, as well as pimples on back back and shoulders. Now my skin is matte all day long dont ever need to wipe it or anything and no new spots for a week now. The previous spots in all places (face, neck, back, shoulders) are just gradually drying and fading away and peeling off. So, for me, so far its been really good and showing its effects quickly. Btw I'm using a face wash for very sensitive/dry skin to make sure I dont irritate my face (cetaphil). Put a light layer of sudocream at night to help the skin repair and heal. I think fairly soon i will have totally blemish free skin

Very glad to hear that it's working for you, without causing any severe side effects. Some people have had pretty bad experiences with it.

Please be careful though and if you do start to experience anything unusual, consult your doctor as soon as possible.

How are you doing now?
