Accutane And Stomach Problems

I am 19 years old and was on accutane for 6 months last year, and now am facing some stomach issues. About 2 months after coming off the medication, my body started to change. In the past year I have lost about 20lbs, and am constantly dealing with stomach issues (indigestion, constipation, diarrhea, lack of appetite, acid reflux). I have gone to a couple doctors, had an endoscopy done, but there seems to be no luck. Has anyone had similar issues??? Some weeks/days are much better than others. My skin is completely clear now but my stomach/body has completely changed. Please respond with any similar side effects!!

According to FDA reports, it hasn't been known to cause such long-term side effects. Reports usually list them as relating to fertility. However, there is a possibility that you have just experienced some general stomach damage. Have you tried any medications to see if they might help? Such as antacids, or anti gas medications?

Are you on any other medications?
