Accutane Advice Needed Asap Please!

Hello, I am 23 and due to start accutane next week....having read these threads I am very concerned about the adverse affects it might have on my already 'petite' frame. I am wondering if anybody could tell me the effects specifically on somebody of my stature: I am about 1.5 stone underweight. I weigh 7.5 stone and stand at 5'9. Can anybody tell me from experience...is this going to savage my body?

To be completely honest, if it were me, I wouldn't take this one.

I am not usually one to tell anyone not to take something, but in this case it is a benign medication that's not life sustaining, it's something that's used to treat cystic acne, which is also not life threatening, therefore with all the posts and reports I've read from people that have suffered long-term ill health effects from it, I would not take this one, for any reason.

You're 23, which means you're a grown adult and you need to make your own decisions, so what you should really do is discuss all of the possible issues with your doctor.

But, the primary question that I have is, have you tried anything else to treat the acne? Have you tried any of the antibiotics for it?
