UpdatedI accidentally took a double dose of irbesartan this morning (300 mg a pill), plus half of a metoprolol. What will happen? Side effects?

Hello, Cathy! How are you feeling? Did you experience any adverse effects?
In most cases, a double dose is not dangerous, though the FDA does warn that doubling up may cause your blood pressure to drop lower than usual, which may also result in shallow breathing, and lowered heart rate.
Are these the only medications you currently take?
I forgot to take my Irbesartan 150 mg this morning and I took it at 1:30 pm! I take Metoprolol SUCC ER 50 mg!
It is now 9:00 pm! Is it ok to take the Metoprolol now?
