Accidental Double Dose Of Lisinopril/hctz And Simvastatin
UpdatedI accidentally took a second dose of both my lisinopril/hctz 10-12.5mg and my simvastatin 40mg, only 12 hours after my normal doses instead of a full 24 hours apart. How concerned should I be, and is there anything I should do?

Hello, Jenn! How are you? Did you experience any adverse effects?
Generally taking a double dose just once isn't a major issue, unless you are allergic to, or sensitive to a given medication. The FDA lists the possible side effects of taking an extra dose as possibly including nausea, vomiting, severe dizziness, increased urination, and hypotension.
