All The Side Effects Mentioned Here Are True, For Most People !

ANY of the side effects mentioned here are true and happen to almost anyone who takes this shot ! Unfortunately they do not know all the problems it will cause. I would never have another shot of Prolia again. You can do it at your own risk, but it's a gamble to do so.

Sorry to hear about your troubling experience with Prolia. I don't know why, but these types of shots tend to cause a lot of undesirable side effects in most people taking them.

The most common side effects I hear of are usually described as aching joints, back pain, and various symptoms associated with an allergic reaction (i.e - swelling, rash, itching).

Hopefully more people will take some time out to do their research before committing to high risk drugs like Prolia. From a patient's perspective it can be hard to know whether it's your health or your money that's in a Dr's best interest when they choose to prescribe what some have called poison.

This site can be an excellent resource for getting the knowledge/feedback from those who've already taken that risk.

I had my first prolia shot 3 weeks ago. Worst pain ever. I have m.d. and fibromyalgia so was already in pain all the time. My dr. Said I should not worry that I had to get the shot due to severe osteoporosis and could break a hip just walking. Well I wish I would of read the patients review befor getting the shot. My pain has tripled since the shot. I am only 4"11 and did weigh 82lbs. Now I am down to 77 lbs. Everything I eat gives me stomache pain.just taking a shower totally wears me out. Quality of life is zero. I can't even phantom this going on for six months. These doctors don'tknow anything about these drugs they just tell you that you need them. UnUnfortunately this shot is in you do you can't just stop taking it. Dont know what to do. I just thank God for my wonderful husband to help me get thru this. (Don't feel it is fair to him). From what I read it gets worse, cant imagine this pain being and worse then it is. Not looking forward to the next five mths. I try to keep a positive outlook but each day that goes away.
