Adderall Increase Denied

I have been on 60 mgs, adderall 2 3o's ir a DAY FOR APPROX 2 YEARS. THEY'RE NOT DOINT THE TRICK AS WELL AS THEY DID SO I ASKED MY DOC FOR AN INCREASE. HE UPPED ME TO 4 20'S 9,+20.MG A DAY. The preorth was taking days so I payed and i was denied, I HAD A DECENT MONTH FOR A CHANGE, I WAS OVER DOSING/RUNNING OUT A WEEK OR MORE B4 RE-UP, THE EXCUSE I WAS GIVEN IS THAT I AM OVER 17 AND THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT MORE THAN 2 PILLS DAILY.

I'D LIKE TO KNOPW HOW TO GO ABOUT FIGHTING THIS,MY DOC TOLD ME STRAIGHT OUT YOU ARE TO DEFEND YOURSELF AN I 9in this one...He said when he tries calling insurance co's he get the hotline game and he does'nt have the time....as it is I'm allotewd 8 minutes office time lol!!!

Hello, Douglas! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you've run into.

It's actually the government that's done this, they put new regulations in place last year that restrict how many you can be prescribed in a day.

The best idea might be to ask your doctor about prescribing you an entirely different medication, that to circumvent the tolerance you've built up to the Adderall.
