I was prescribed adderall a while ago when I was in college I'm back in grad school & I'm a single mother w/limited insurance I really need to find a dr in md/dc who will perscribe it to me easily w/out a million drs appointments any recommendations would be helpful thxs ## Hi sjmom, To my knowledge, virtually any type of doctor can see you for ADHD (pediatrician, psychiatrist, regular MD). Whether or not they want to pursue treatment is up to them and if so they might go for another medication rather than Adderall. Chances are if you walk in and say you have ADHD, then ask for an Adderall script you won't get it because it is seen as what they call "drug seeking behavior". Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication'...

I am a 21 year old college student looking to buy vyvanse wtihout a prescription.... I know that is probably the worst intro and most people will think I just want it to cram for tests or whatever, but that is not the case. I have struggled with focusing, procrastinating, forgetfulness, and mistakes in my school work since I was very young. I am not comfortable going to a doctor with this information because I am still on my parent's health insurance and they don't understand why I would need something like this. I don't need a lecture - I have tried vyvanse several times and it helped so much! I felt motivated and focused without any bad side effects. Now I want to try taking it on a regular basis, but I have struggled to figure out a way to get it... help.

I have been on Vyvanse for 6 weeks. I started at 30 mg for 2 days, then went up to 60 until I saw my doctor about 2 1/2 weeks later. She then prescribed me the full 70 mg dose as well as 30 mg of Adderall for the afternoons, which I have taken either 15 or 30 mg in the afternoon maybe 2 times a week at most. Well, I have lost about 23 pounds which is great, but this weekend I started noticing these dizzy spells, which last for about 10 seconds and seem to come out of nowhere. I am thinking it has something to do with the fact that I am barely eating anything, and when I do its just a few bites here or there. I have absolutely no appetite and I wouldn't doubt that my blood sugar is getting too low and causing these odd spells. I have also not been so great at keeping up with my water...

Do you have any rash, or redness of the skin where it gets itchy? Have you tried anything to relieve the itching? Your doctor should be able to take a look and tell you if that's what it is, or if it's due to something else. ## oh,

How long does Barr 956 stay in your system? ## Based on my research, d-amphetamine can be detected in your urine for up to 2-5 days after your last dose. In hair follicles it can be detected for up to 90 days. So I think it really depends upon the type of drug test your taking, when determining how long it stays in your system vs how long it can be detected for. They say most drugs leave your system in just a few days time, but I still wonder if they really have left your system when a hair strand test can find them 3 months after you last took any... I hope this insight helps!

AND IF I GET TESTED FOR A RANDOM I'M I OK IF I WAS PRESCRIBE THE MEDICINE. ## If you have a legitimate prescription for the medication, then you will be fine. I am currently deployed in Afghanistan, and I got prescribed adderall over here, because I would be answering phones and forget what people tell me immediately, even after writing down most of the conversation, and it became a problem so I went to the clinic and got it prescribed. I was diagnosed with ADD when I was 11, which was 9 years ago. And I took adderall and vyvanse to help me focus in school. I didn't really feel it, but it chilled me out and slowed things down for me, letting me focus more on work than other things that popped in my head. Slick just had a slip that lasted 2days with the drug meth. I had stored my urine in case of this, only to find out urine had to be frozen for long periods. My first idea was to mix my urine(must contain methadone and klonopin)half and half with fresh urine clean of all drugs. I can't get advice or help so far. At the present I get 3 take homes and I treasure it because a round trip for me is around 120 miles. I was about to run out of money, but with days off I am saving around $90 a week, and I know I should have thought about that, but being what I am in certain circumstances I fall victim. Any way I have to figure this out. Please respond, how u would do it, will the fresh urine correct some of the flaws which exist with an old sample? Thanks

My psychiatrist prescribed me Focalin XR 10/mg... the first day was okay, but this week I have felt absolutely crazy- anxiety to the point of sheer panic, worry, overthought... fear. I can't focus on anything except my own racing thoughts, and am worried that I am alienating the people closest to me because I am such an emotional wreck. And as to assistance for Adderall, unfortunately, the manufacturer, Shire Pharmaceuticals, has discontinued the program for this medication. Have you talked to your doctor about possibly using the generic medication? Another place you can try getting help through is the Partnership for Prescription Assistance, they have several programs available.
