I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Why doesn't your primary just refer you another doctor? And some important advice, when calling specialists, is to not ask them about prescribing it, because they will view that as being drug seeking behavior. I have seen the same psychiatrist for 5 years and recently moved to Hattiesberg, MS. My family doctor referred me to a new Psych, however when I called to schedule the appt the receptionist said that the doctor does not prescribe adderall or xanax. She told me that when she asked what current meds I take. REALLY....the doctor never even met me or reviewed my medical history. ## Michelle, If the meds are that important to you, ask your doctor to refer someone else. I started adderall. Doctor told me to start with 10mg in morning and 5mg 4 hours later. I did this for a few days and felt absolutely nothing. I was the told to up my morning to 20mg. And 10mg 4 hours later. Again ... nothing .... If anything I feel more foggy and super sleepy. I was given this medication for all the reasons it's used for. What could be wrong ?? Not enough mg? Adderall 30mg 3x a day Xanax 2mg 4x a day buprenorphine 8mg 1x a day mirtazapine 30mg 1x a day ## It could be due to the combination of medications, or any one of them, since they all have the potential to cause nausea as a side effect. Have you been taking them on an empty stomach? If so, you may want to try taking them with food to prevent the nausea. Have you experienced any other symptoms? Headache, irritability, dizziness?

Are you allowed to be in heat/sun while taking this? I went tanning and I'm itching all over and I don't know if its that or an allergic reaction. ## Hi Sierra, I did some research to see if Vyvanse causes photosensitivity and did read that photosensitivity reactions have been reported by people with high blood pressure, depression, rheumatoid arthritis, high blood cholesterol, and multiple sclerosis. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist, at least for the Adderall, since it is a controlled substance. It also carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, nervousness, insomnia and anorexia. What is your general location? That information would make it easier for someone to recommend a good doctor in you area.

Drug test came back positive for methamphetamine and amphetamines I take vyvanse and was taking over the counter cold medication at the time could this combination have caused a positive reading? Are there levels/numbers I can look for to fight this on the blood work print out? Hopefully you'll be able to help, thank you

i took three hits off a methamphetamine pipe saturday at 3am. i tested on tuesday. at 6pm do you think i tested clean? it was a urine test. my urine was almost clear in color and it was more than 72hours after. please somebody reassure me i was clean

Someone please help me! I screwed up and admit I abused ritalin the night before my pain clinic doctor gave me a urine test, so my question is since I took about fifty 20mg ritalin pills the night before and the doctor sends my urine out to a lab will it show up that I was abusing methylphenidate and thus leading to my discharge from pain management? I found a blue capsule with the markings 3060 on it with white powder in it, what is it? ## Is the marking R 3060 on both halves of the capsule? If so, then this contains 20mgs of mixed Amphetamine salts in an extended release formulation, it's a generic for Adderall XR that's commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. what is this pill? It is round white and has SKF/339 on one side and break line with number 5 on the other! ## I found a pill that bears the same 'type' of imprint having "SKF E19" on one side and a break line on the other (but no number 5), and I'm wondering if they could potentially be related. The other major differences are the shape and color of this particular pill being orange & three-sided (like a triangle). It's identified as a 5mg Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) tablet, and the manufacturer is reported to be GlaxoSmithKline. Maybe if you were to contact the manufacturer directly they'd be able to tell you if its something else they make (or used to make) with the same type of imprint. I hope this helps!

This is a stimulant, so it's normal for it to cause side effects in some people that take it. You may also experience dizziness, irritability and insomnia. They usually start to taper off after a few weeks, once your body gets used to the medication. Are there any other questions or concerns?

Waste water is purified and reused, but it's been found that prescriptions drugs tend not to be removed by current purification methods, so we end up with them still being in our tap water. The preferred current disposal method is to mix them with some undesirable substance, such as used coffee grounds or dirty kitty litter, place the mess into a sealed container, such as a coffee can and then dispose of it with your regular garbage. Please help! Weird generic adderall filled at CVS today. 20mg tablet This is a HUGE concern for me as I just filled my prescription today (9/8/2014) at CVS and found your post after googling what the difference is as they look completely different as they often do with generics, but I've NEVER seen them look like this nor look so chalky. I haven't taken one yet so I do not know if it will have the same results as my previous ones which were all TEVA pharm also. Did you speak with CVS about your findings with this new pharm company? Can Vyvanse 30 mg cause you to fail a UA test and if so for what type of drugs ## Yes, as a schedule II sympathomemeticamine it has a proximity to amphetamine. Therefore the test result would be positive for stimulants. You would need to explain that it is for you ADHD. Jet pilots routinely take stimulents like this from the flight surgeon. Desoxyn or pharmaceutical methamphetamine it also prescribed but more stringently.

Need to know if pharmacy will fill my adderall today(30th day) although Dr wrote do not fill prior to 9/7/14. I was given 30 day supply last month and 9/6/14 is 30th day(got them filled 8/8/14 and is counted as day one).I live in TN. I've been taking Adderall xr 15mg for three weeks. First couple of days I felt sleepy, groggy, third and fourth days i felt a surge of physical well-being, as well as focused , and a balanced state of mind. However, all that lasted another couple of days. After the first week of Adderall xr 15mg, i felt nothing. It's been three weeks now, and I still feel nothing. I am going to ask my doc to switch to Vyvanse. However, i know that 10mg of Axr is = to 30mg of Vyvanse. But if i'm taking 15 mg of Axr, how much Vyvanse should I take to equal the Axr dose?
