I've lived in ATL for about 6 yrs now. I have always believed I have ADD/ADHD (am an adult male fyi), however haven't been professionally diagnosed. I've been self-medicating from a family members prescription of Adderall. I just had to take a urine test for work so I stopped taking them for a while before and it still showed up. I will not be allowed to work in my career field for the next 1/2 year unless I can get in to see a dr who will both see and prescribe it immediately. Anyone know ANY of those Drs like that? Like the high cash cost, but promise a script, and in the next few days. I only need it written once and will finally get in with a REAL honest dr. Anyone please help. I was told by my Dr. to take Claritin D (pseudoephedrine) and I already had been taking a nasal spray containing phenylephrine. I tested positive in a saliva test for ephedrine and methamphetamine. I have never taken methamphetamine in my life. Can these two compounds cause a false positive for methamphetamine? ## Ephedrine and pseudoephedrine (I'll use "ephedrine" to mean both from this point forward) can, and often do, show up as methamphetamine on a drug screen. I have been diagnosed and been taking Adderall XR for 15 years. I just called to schedule my appointment with my doctor and they told me sorry but he left without warning and I need to find another provider. I'm in a panic. I am on disability for numerous mental health and chronic illnesses and have been taking this med along with many others for 20 years. I am terrified of falling out of my routine with my meds. I don't know what or where to go and have no other doctors to go to. I'm just frantically trying to find someone who might know of where I can go to prevent a serious medical issue. Hi. I am on Lortabs due to a severe back injury. Is it okay to take amphetamine or Adderall with Lortabs? ## Have they both been prescribed for you? Since one is basically a downer, while the other does the opposite, they should not be taken together, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so. They both also carry the risk of being habit forming, according to FDA reports. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, and insomnia.

I would like to know, how long does it take until a small amount of methamphetamine is detectable through urine? I am 200 lbs and around 5'6 ## I know this is an old post. But just in case you still need the help for yourself or anyone else. It all depends on what you consider a small amount and which type of urine test. They have multiple types of panels. With your given weight from what I have researched, it takes longer than average to get out of the system due to being stored in the fat cells. Same as if you are eating greasy or fatty foods. It slows your digestive system down. Therefore it would vary and depends on when you need to be clean. It's highly recommended at minimum to drink at least (16) 8 oz glasses of water a day. Doctor took me off vyvanse due to BP issues and put me on low dose of Adderall IR and so I threw the remaining script away for vyvanse, two weeks later put me back on it because BP was resolved and Adderall had bad side effects. Found a pill. My friend thought it might be focalin, yet focalin has a number on the back and this one only has 93. ## There is one manufactured by Tris Pharma that they list as being round, white and having just the number 93 on it. Their listing says that it is a 10mg generic for Focalin. So my son, who is apparently "Hard to Handle" at school, has been placed on Adderall XR 20 milligrams once a day every morning. In the beginning he started at a lower dose and it worked but had very poor side effects making his come down brutal. He had fits of rage, anger and crying fits. I am trying to find something different that will work for him that isn't so harsh because now along with the comedown he is throwing up at least 4 times a day at school around noon everyday. His test scores and homework scores have gone up exponentially but that does not provide much reassurance when his attitude and emotional and physical well-being is suffering. I'm on 3 of the 20 mg Ritalin and I had to go for a month without them. I was more sick than when I quit Oxycontin. Why I went without the Ritalin is because my doctor went on vacation for a month and forgot to write me a refill. I never knew that Ritalin could make you feel such bad withdrawals. ## It is a stimulant and stopping such a high dose abruptly can cause withdrawal effects, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and chills. How are you doing, now? Are things better? Are you on any other medications?

I recently moved back to Michigan after living in South Dakota for two years. My doctor from SD wrote me three paper prescriptions that I picked up the end of February, each dated for March 2nd, April 2nd, and May 2nd. Tomorrow I'm going to see a new doctor here in Michigan to establish care. I am going to speak with the new doctor about increasing my dosage. Looks small and White. Round round with ?ad10 on it and some more lettering then blank on other side. I think it may have had further lettering further down. I recently had sinus congestion. I took OTC Mucinex. When I took my urine test it showed up POSITIVE for amphetamines. Is this possible? ## I've done a lot of things but I have never ever ever taken amphetamines. That said, my doctor gave me a urine test that I take every three months because I'm on narcotics for the military and it comes up positive for amphetamines. All I can think of is she gave me hydroxyzine HCL.
