I recently changed doctors and we were going over previous medications. There was one I was prescribed years ago, I think when they still thought I had ADD. It was a capsule, it was either clear with blue pellets or blue which made it look like the pellets themselves were blue I can't really remember. I can remember hating them because they made me feel like I had the emotional spectrum of a rock though. ## I am not sure, if was for ADHD, then it probably contained some type of Amphetamine salt, like Adderall does, but from this description it is hard to pinpoint exactly what it was. Does anyone else recognize this? How many years ago was it?

ADD/HD Medication, where can I find Focalin IR in the Ft. Worth, Texas area? My 11 yo. son is taking 10 mg. Focalin XR in AM, and prescribed 10 mg Foclin IR at noon, but cannot find it. ## Hi, I just got put on Focalin 2 weeks ago and still have yet to find a Pharmacy that has it or is willing to order it in Austin, TX. I feel your pain. Do you think its a Texas thing or is this shortage happening all over? Was wondering if Texas might have stricter regulations on Focalin compared to other states.

I have been having a hard time to find the right meds for my 11 yr old for ADD. Hes on his 5th med which is now Intuniv. He is always thristy and kinda grumpy. He's only been on this med. for almost 2 wks. Is this normal? Are things going to get better? I just get confused wondering if its the right thing to do or not. ## Intuniv contains the active ingredient Guanfacine, it is commonly used to treat ADHD and can help lower blood pressure. I am taking a high blood pressure medication, Verapamil, and I am just starting on Vyvanse. I'm not sure if this is going to affect my blood pressure in a bad way. Any help? ## Vynase is a stimulant medication, therefore, yes it can cause an elevation in your blood pressure and heart rate. Where these both prescribed by the same doctor?
