This is a narcotic pain medication product, Actiq pops contain Fentanyl, (Duragesic) which is a very, very potent narcotic, 80 times stronger than morphine.

Im on 3 100mcg fentanyl patches but i still get break thru pain i have deg disc disease arthritis every disk is herniated and five bulging in my neck. Two knee surgery s two torn rotator cuffs w torn ligaments in my shoulders an the one they did operate on hurt s worse. I have stenosis, sciatica, etc. Basically i was hit by two cars on my bike in nine monthes one an suv so hard the tuck mirror broke on my back. I am lucky to walk at all. Im also on six (down from 9 cause of insurance) 8mg dilaudin a day. I have so much break thru pain because before this even happened i had deg disk disease that ate up my spine so at 38 i had the spine of a 60yr old. Im letting u all know most of whats going on because im in new york city paying cash to a pain dr because hospital after hospital is stopping giving pain meds like i take to non cancer patients because they dont believe in "quality of life" medication for non cancer patients. But my dr wont give me the fentanyl lollypops which have worked well for me in the past because he says in ny they are only allowed for cancer patients. Is this true?

If your using 3-100mcg Fentanyl Patches at a time, you realize that's equivalent to over a 1,000 mgs of Morphine a day...right? Dude, I had 29 fractures, including 4 total joint replacements, (both knees, left hip, left shoulder) femur plate, 2 fractured neck vertebrates, among the rest of them...and I use one 100mcg. Patch, and 10 mg. Methadone tabs...anywhere between 0 up to 8 if needed per day, and don't ever take my hydromorphone anymore...300mcgs of fentanyl is A LOT of medicine... I'm surprised your not asleep all the time..
