A New Drug For Osteoarthritis Limbrel 500/50mg (Page 2)

Updated

I was unable to continue Aleve after seven years. Pain pills made me to groggy and didn't really work. I was referred to a pain Dr. and was put on Limbrel 500/50mg Two times a day. This has to be the best medicine I have ever taken. I have regained my quality of life. Besides my osteoarthritis it helps me feel so much better, almost normal. I hope those of you who are about to give up hope will try this medication. It's very costly but the Dr. can give you samples and a coupon that will bring the cost down to about $50.00 a month.

Limbrel has been a great help with the amount of arthritis I have in my back and legs! The side effect of nausea, diarrhea and gas are awful! I've had diarrhea for three weeks now!! Any suggestions?

If you go to their website now 8/26/2016 they are offering a free 30 day trial bottle. I just signed up for it. I am willing to try it. My GI tract is super sensitive to all the non-steroidal medications including Advil and I can't take other meds due to side effects that I almost always get which are worse then the pain. I have multiple herniated discs & arthritis due to a hit and run accident and suffer from sever pain in my back and legs which Chiropractic medicine and traction has kept under control until I went through the change of life 8 years ago. The back has just steadily gotten worse with time even on a healthy diet and moderate exercise. I hope Limbrel gives relief so I can sleep through the night again and do some of my favorite things like gardening and sewing. Pinched nerve bundles that lead down my legs make sitting a nightmare, and standing is only tolerated for about 10-15 minutes. Its getting difficult to work at my sit down job.

Where did you find the fifty dollars coupon? I was paying $5.00 for it about four years thru Express Scripts and they discontinued it as a food product....then I found a coupon for $50.00 a month cash only no insurance that lasted a year....I just went to refill it again and it was $100.00 for a months supply. Regular cost out of pocket with no insurance or a coupon is about $750.00, at Walgreens. If you can tell me the Web address where to gest straight it for $50.00 dollars or less I would be very grateful. This is the only medicine that after taking it for a few weeks I was able to stand almost straight. Have been on it now for 5 years, pain is another issue. Thank you.

Limbrel is made by Primus pharmaceuticals (primusrx.com). Go to a different pharmacy after printing out the free discount card and demand they use it because they are required to.

It's $49.95 for 60 capsules via mail order, plus free shipping.

Biotics Research Corporation makes a Sculacia supplement with the same blend of flavinoids without the zinc. The price is $30 for 60 capsules 250 mg which means you would have to take 2 to get the 500 mg dosage. I have not used this brand before so I cant give it a thumbs up or down but it is the only one I've located with the same flavinoids. Hope this helps!

I have been in chronic pain 24/7 for the last 5 years including 2 back surgeries. I had almost given up until I was referred to yet again a new doctor who put me on Limbrel 500 mg 2 x a day. She gave me a weeks worth of samples to try. Didn't feel much of a difference in that week, but I wanted to try it for at least one month. CVS pharmacy wanted to charge me some outrageous amount like over $900.00. The drs office called the manufacturer and I now pay $59.00 a month. I really had no hope for this medication because EVERYTHING I was and had taken made me sick. The pain killers helped for 4 hours and then the pain was back, if I continued taking the amount needed I would have become addicted. Motrin worked very well but after taking it in high doses for so long was destroying my stomach! I was even put on rheumatoid arthritis injections twice a month for 2 years that landed me in the hospital! After taking this medication now for 6 weeks I can HONESTLY say it has changed my life! At first I didn't want to believe it and everyday I took it was another day of no pain, and just feeling so much better! Now I know 100% that it works for me. I could not get my second months percripition in time to continue without a few missed pills and my pain was back (not as sever). I am actually going to get it in tomorrow's mail and I can't wait to swallow that blue pill!!! Now I pray it just keeps on working and no high liver enzymes.

3 months supply was $2,000.00 at Walgreen's. I found the company phone number online and called. They were very nice. The lady gave me a coupon by email that saved me $1,800.00. She gave me the name and phone number to Transition Pharmacy (849-774-6871) that markets their products online for $49.00. You have to call them and send them a copy of your prescription for them to sell to you.

Re: DJS (# 8) Expand Referenced Message

Call the Company that manufactures it, you can get it for 49.00 a month! But it has recently been recalled by the FDA! A national chain pharmacy wanted $700.00 dollars for a 1 month supply!
